Hello, My wife and I will be in Boquete for 5 days starting Sunday the 15th. We hope to make contacts for a rental property. We plan to relocate next Feb. coming from Nicaragua. We would like a long term 2 bed 2 bath. In or very near town as we don't want to get a car. Our budget including utilities is $1200 p/mo. It must be dog friendly. Location: Dos Rios Arriba (2 Rivers) 2.5 kms
from Dolega central, 25 kms from Boquete
(about 20 mins.), bus/taxi route on corner.The
house is located on a almost ½ acre lot. It has
2 bedrooms, 1 bath (hot water tank shower),
kitchen, living/dining room, large front porch
and covered garage area in addition to a large
porch area in the rear of the house.
It is furnished with queen and twin size beds,
refrigerator, stove/oven, microwave, washing
machine and dining room table w/four chairs.
Hunter ceiling fans in the living room and the
two bedrooms. cable and wireless internet
Wi-FI and land line phone service. An
entertainment center with a 32” TV & a Roku
streaming device. Move in condition.
The neighborhood is middle-upper class, safe,
haven’t heard of any crime, with lighted streets.
Security was taken seriously with a 6 foot’ high,
barb-wire topped, chain link fence surrounding
the property. The front and back doors to the
house are metal security doors, dead bolt locks
on the side and bottom of the doors with outer
screened security doors. All the windows have
designer metal bars encased inside of the
window frame which cannot be pried off from
outside. All the windows have screens that are
removable for easy cleaning. The house is
located in a lovely quiet area with lighted paved
streets. Dos Rios, as the name implies, is sur-
rounded by two rivers. The locals use the rivers
for recreation, fishing and swimming. Dos Rios
is basically flat, no hills (great for bicycling)
and lies halfway between David and Boquete. The
climate is cooler than David, warmer, drier and
less windy than Boquete, with no bajareque
(drizzle). There is a 8’ X 10‘ concrete storage
shed and water storage tank w/pump although
water is rarely a problem. There are many fruit
& coffee plants and plenty of space for a dog.
