Do you mind sharing it? Knowledge of what it takes to make the move to Panama is what I speak of. My wife and I will be arriving in Boquete on 4-29 for 8 days and during that time very much hope we can sit down with someone who can and will give us no BS answers to the questions we have. From afar what we read makes it seem as though finding friendly expats to speak with should be no problem but we just want to make sure that as many of our questions are answered as possible. If you are or know someone who is that person or persons, we would love to buy you coffee, dinner, drinks or just hang out. Thanks, Bryan and Kim

I am Dutch and an expat for 30 years. West Africa, 13 years in Spain, 12 years in the Caribbean and since 3.1/2 years in Boquete. I speak fluent Spanish and have Panamanian friends. My wife and I like it here a lot.

talk to the locals. they know the area best. try to find bilingual locals. they won't steer you wrong.
Try to find seasoned expats, not newbies (more confirmation bias with them).
Thanks Louis, we will do that.
Forgot to put that I can also be reached at bryanbogey@gmail.com
Recommend you visit the Tuesday market just across the bridge in Boquete on Tuesday Mornings starting at 9.00. There you will be able to meet and talk with many expats who are very knowlegable about the area.
And don't forget Sugar and Spice for breakfast. Many expats eat there, and sit and chat. It is closed on Wednesdays.
