I've watched a lot of videos about moving to Panama and the one thing that's missing is anything about whether or not there's a car culture there? Funny enough, I know of a Mopar group in Iraq. IRAQ.
One recent video I watched was a local architect's computer rendering of a man cave/garage. So, I have to assume that there's at least one guy there that's a car enthusiast. Is he the only one? And when I searched that Panamanian 'Craigslist'-like web page I saw a fairly new Ferrari - no dents. Though, I haven't seen any evidence of any car groups or related events, so far.
Is this the one thing that Panama doesn't have? No car clubs? Car meets? Car shows? If there are, can someone educate me, please?
Thanks!

Hello John,
Thanks for the reply. This is Bob Hopkin. Let's use e mail to chat instead of Boquete Ning. Please contact me on bobhopkin1@gmail.com and we can talk about places in Panama, and the car scene.

Done.
Hello John, Nothing much to offer as I don't yet know of any Panamanian car clubs either. Just wanted to mention that I am also a car enthusisast and used to coordinate outings/ car runs for sports, veteran and vintage cars in the Cape in South Africa before coming here. If you find any evidence for car clubs please let me know. If you live in the Boquete area and want to get together for an automotive chat sometime let me know. My Whatsapp is 62905182. Bob Hopkin
Hello. Well, there's at least 1 car enthusiast in Panama! No sir, I'm not in Panama - yet. Planning a trip there soon to scout some areas to retire to. And one of the things I was pondering was whether or not to ship my car there? Especially, if at that time, I can get the retirement discount. I haven't seen my car for sale there. Nor have I seen any classics. That Ferrari, 430 - I think, was probably the coolest thing I've seen for sale, so far.
What are you driving? How's the driving there? Done any trips?
