I Posted this Earlier but seems like it didn't go through ...
So I am wondering if anyone has recently driven the InterAmericana Highway from Here to PC ?
Are there Construction Jam Ups ? Where are they ? Is there any way around ...
How long does it take and What is the Best time to go ?
Appreciate all Helpful Information !
Thanks ~

Hi
Last week to PC. Took the road at the Gualaca checkpoint ( turn right at the checkpoint) that goes by
the ocean and ends up in the town of Santiago. It was BEAUTIFUL but slow and lots of dogs... It was a lot longer than taking the regular road and if you do not know your way around Santiago it will take time to figure out where the Panamerican highway is... Coming back we used the regular road and yes you have to stop once in awhile and there are unpaved parts of the road and do not follow to close or your windshield can be hit with a rock... That happened time before last! If you can fly you are much better off than driving and do not drive at night from Santiago to David a real nightmare.....
