This lovely dog limped into my yard the other day with a badly injured rear leg. I don't know if she was hit by a car or was in a fight since her wounds look like punctures. None of my neighbors have ever seen the dog before.
The problem is, I don't have a car so there's no way I can get her to a vet for treatment, and a cab won't take her nor can I afford the cab fare to get her to a vet since I live in Boqueron.
I know there are plenty of animal lovers out there and someone might be willing to help me get this poor creature the help she needs. The wounds look worse in person than they do in the photos.

Ed and I would be happy to help you and this dog, Call us and we will clear our schedule to come get you and the dog in Boqueron on Wednesday. We had a good experience with Dr. Sam at Happy Pets in David. Call us at 6941-3131.
Richard,
Try te get hold of LARVICID. (5.- USD) You might get it in some shop that sells agro stuff, like fertilizer etc. If not , Melo has it in David .It will disinfect and avoid that insects lay their eggs. Wish I could do a bit more but Boqueron is a bit too far far me. Best of luck.
They do look like puncture wounds and need to be kept from getting infected. You can probably take care of this yourself without a vet. Clean the wounds with hydrogen peroxide. If you have some antibiotic ointment, apply that to the wounds. Agnes and Patrick who run the David spay/neuter clinic might be able to give you some medications. Contact them at 6674-4842.
