If you haven't been there you need to check it out. MEL'S BBQ Restaurant & Catering in Alto Boquete next to Chopsticks is not a wanta be BBQ resturant but the real deal. Mel is also a member of KC BBQ ASSOCIATION. He offeres RIBS, STEAKS, CHICKEN, CHOPS, SEAFOOD. and his sauce is the best. Cole Slaw, Potato salad and of course Beans. Pulled pork and Brisket that melts in your mouth.... Kansas City's finest...Check it out

I ate there on Friday Feb 21, 2020 and had wonderfulpork ribs and pulled pork. As a BBQ expert from California's central cost and well travelled, I found the food wonderful. I recommend this place with highest honors. It is next to Chop Sticks Chinese restaurant who also serves execellent food at a great price.
