Food Extravaganza at the BCP This Tuesday (12/3/13)

This Week at the BCP there will be a food extravaganza at the "2 Guys and a Cooler" Booth!!

We are making specialty gourmet dishes from all over the world and you can only get yours at the BCP.  There will be German, Cajun, Italian, Mexican, Southern US, French, and Central European.  Allow us "2 Guys and a Cooler" the opportunity to cook for you.  Take a break from the kitchen and have a gourmet restaurant meal in the comfort of your own home.... Without destroying your kitchen.  All for about the price of a Panamanian "Comida del Dia".

If you want to pre-order any menu items simply send us an email and we will have it ready for you on Tuesday.  Also if you would like to get on our mailing list please send us a request as well.  We are the only food business in the Highlands that offers such an extensive menu and continues to change it weekly.  We want those who buy our meals to experience a level of diversity that is simply unheard of here in Panama.  Most of our meals are unique and hard to find dishes.  Just take a peek at our menu and see for yourself.

All of our menu items are flash frozen and delivered to you.  Place your frozen meal in the freezer until you are ready to eat.  Take out your dinner and allow to thaw.  Once thawed heat according to the instruction written on the package.

Enjoy

Eric and Joe

Please send all pre-orders to cajuneric@gmail.com

Entrée Menu:

This week we are bringing back some classics and adding a few new items.  Hope you like Cajun, Italian, or German.  We’ve got a bit of all three on the menu today.  Comfort food is also a top pick for this week’s menu.  Enjoy

Mushroom and Spinach stuffed Pork Tenderloin:  $9.00  This new item is absolutely wonderful.  We use fresh crimini, Portobello, and button mushrooms to create a layer (sushi style) in the middle of the pork tenderloin.  On top of that we spread a generous helping of an Organic French Bordeaux Spinach (from our garden).  Finally we roll it up and coat it on olive oil.  After being grilled we top it off with more fresh mushrooms and coat it with a brown gravy.  Comes with a side of mashed potatoes and gravy.  This is a dinner for 2    SOLD OUT

Asparagus, Mushroom, and Cream sauce coated Chicken:  $9.00  A simple and delicious dinner for 2 this meal has all of my favorite ingredients.  Fresh mushrooms, fresh asparagus and pan seared juicy chicken.  Coated with a mushroom sauce and served over pasta this dinner is a perfect break from the ordinary.

European Meatloaf with mashed Potatoes:  $8.00  Joe’s making meatloaf again!!.  This comfort food satisfies every time.  There’s no doubt.  Come to the dinner table hungry and leave satisfied with this great classic.  Served with mashed potatoes and gravy you can’t go wrong.

Gnocchi Bolognese:  $8.00  This Gnocchi Potato Pasta is served with beef Bolognese and baked with mozzarella cheese.  A great Italian staple ready for you to enjoy.

Chicken Cordon Bleu:  $8.00  A delicious dinner for 2 that has withstood the test of time.  We love making this dish because it not only is one of our most popular menu items but it is also supremely delicious.  Breaded and baked our chicken cordon bleu comes out juicy and tender every time.  Stuffed with gourmet Swiss Cheese and Smoked cutlets of ham you will wish you had ordered an extra.  Comes with steamed broccoli and carrots smothered in a smoked Gouda Morney sauce.

Grilled Pear with Honey Roasted Walnuts and Blue Cheese Chicken:  $8.00 (Gluten Free)  I hope you are ready for a taste extravaganza!!!  This is where sweet meets savory.  A perfect combination of different ingredients come together for a taste so extraordinary that you will be left in disbelief.  Served with a balsamic sauce and feeds 2 adults.

Cajun Chicken Jambalaya:  $7.00 (Gluten Free and Dairy Free)  I couldn’t allow one more week to go by without making this amazing Cajun staple.  The requests for this dish have been quite overwhelming as well so here we go.  In Southwest Louisiana (my home town) where the last remaining Cajuns live we had this dish on a weekly basis.  The men would gather round the biggest pot they could find and start cooking.  It was my 7 uncles that collectively taught me how to cook Jambalaya.  I have omitted the “spicy and salty” aspect from this dish so when you order it feel free to spice it up!! Fresh white meat, pork sausage, Tasso, lots of celery, onions, and bell peppers make the essence of this dish come together.  If you want a real taste of Louisiana try this on for size..

Chicken Pot Pies:  ( $6.00Reg  or Large $15.00):  We have more pot pies.  I’m making them today as a matter of fact.  Perfectly seasoned and just enough gravy to make this the best pot pie you’ve ever had.  In my opinion though it all starts with the crust.  Buttery, flakey, not too thick…  It’s a true comfort food.  Freezes great so stock up while you can.

Rosemary Walnut Chicken:  $8.00:  Just as it sounds.  A baked chicken breast that has been breaded with roasted walnuts, bread crumbs, parmesan, and fresh rosemary.  Served over pasta and coated in our roasted garlic tomato based sauce.  Yummy.

German Sauerbraten $8.00  A German dish that week after week continues to sell out.  We have marinated our beef in vinegars and wine for 4 days and have allowed the juices and seasoning to marry in flavor.  After a slow cooking process (7 hours) our beef is perfect and tender.  Will literally fall apart in your mouth as you eat it.  Served with a sweet ginger sauce and a side of German Spatzle (egg butter noodles)

Potato Salad:  $5.00 (Gluten Free)  A cold salad with a touch of mustard, mayo, and worsteshire sauce add to the eggs, potatoes, and celery.  Perfect for a picnic or a quick side to a great sandwich.

Soups Menu:

Our Soups change from week to week depending on the popularity and the ingredients that are available.  We have had such a great response from the Tortilla Soup and the Potato Chowder that we have made it again.  We also kept the Mushroom Soup as this week we were able to harvest some great mushrooms and find others at the local markets.  Check out our new ones as well.

Mexican Tortilla Soup: (Gluten Free)  $8.00  This Mexican classic is not only a great soup but it will be the heartiest tortilla soup you will ever eat.  Full of wonderful Veggies this chicken based soup passes mustard.  Add a dollop of sour cream and a bit of cheddar cheese to your hot soup for a perfect Mexican treat. Serves 2 adults (32oz)

Cream of Mushroom Soup (4 Mushrooms): $10.00  This gourmet mushroom soup is perfect.  I bring together the complex flavors of the button, oyster, crimini, and Portobello mushroom mixed with roasted garlic and sautéed onions to make a cream based soup that is absolutely delightful.  A Chiriqi favorite for over 2 years.  Serves 2 adults (32oz)

New England Clam Chowder:  $10.00  A great cream based soup with all of the flavor of its clams.  Made with the traditional ingredients this simply perfect.  Joe has shucked the clams so there are no shells in this batch..  Heat and enjoy!!  Serves 2 adults (32 oz)

Chicken Soup: (Gluten free)  $8.00 They say that chicken soup warms the soul.  This will do just that.  A simple soup with a variety of veggies that add loads of flavors.  Joe will add rice or noodles to your order if you specify.

Pizza Menu:

Have you ever had an Italian Pizza baked in a wood fired brick oven?  Our pizzas are just that.  We crank up the heat on our brick oven to 700F and start baking the thin crust.  After a few minutes we take them out and allow them to cool.  We then assemble your pizzas to order and flash freeze them.  Ensuring that you get all the taste and quality of our fresh baked pizza.  Once you get this pie home all you need to do is keep it in your freezer until you are ready to eat a pizza.  Allow to thaw then bake at 375 for 20 – 25 minutes.  Voila.  Restaurant quality Italian Pizza in your very own living room.

Cheese Pizza:  $6.50  (A classic in its own right.  Fresh mozzarella over a nice thin layer of fresh herbs and sweet tomato sauce)

Pepperoni Pizza:  $7.00  (Take the amazing cheese pizza and put pepperoni all over it!!)

Margareta Pizza:  $7.00  (Bail, fresh herbs, tomatoes, Mozzarella cheese, and sweet pizza sauce make this an East Coast favorite)

Melanzane Pizza:  $8.00  (My personal favorite.  Fresh Eggplant, roasted garlic, tomatoes, fresh herbs, mozzarella cheese, and sweet pizza sauce)

Veggie Pizza:  $7.50  (We took the garden and threw it on a pie.  A little bit of everything from the garden goes into this veggie lovers pie)

Meat Pizza:  $8.00  (Pepperoni, ham, and sausage over fresh mozzarella cheese, fresh herbs, and sweet pizza sauce)

Mushroom Pizza:  $8.00  (as simple as it sounds.  We start with fresh mushrooms and we end with fresh mushrooms.  Mozzarella cheese, herbs, and sauce all in the middle.) WARNING FOR MUSHROOM LOVERS ONLY!!

Hawaiian Pizza:  $9.00  (Take this great ham and grilled pineapple pizza and let your taste buds do the rest.  Absolutely delicious)

We will only be making pre-orders for the pizza so please let me know if you would like one by replying to cajuneric@gmail.com

Desserts:

Strawberry and Rhubarb Cobbler:  $8.00  We use fresh Organic Rhubarb and delicious strawberries for this classic cobbler.

Blueberry Cobbler:  $5.00  This amazing treat is perfect for 1 or 2 people.  Add a scoop of ice cream to complete this dessert sensation.  Only 2 left

Blackberry, Raspberry, and Blueberry Cobbler:  $10  A full size cobbler with the great taste of baked blackberries resonating throughout.  Perfect in every way.  Seasoned with a touch of ginger, cinnamon, and nutmeg.  You will enjoy each bite.  Bring to a gathering and it will surely be the centerpiece of the dessert table.

Carrot Cake with Butter Cream Icing:  $6.00  My personal favorite.  We use fresh organic carrots from our greenhouse to make this classic dessert.  A delicious way to utilize yummy veggies.  Topped with a butter cream icing and perfect anytime.  Will serve 4

Banana Walnut Bread: $5.00  Try it and you’ll see why we have been selling out of this item each week for over 2 years.  It’s simply amazing.

Zucchini Walnut Bread:  $5.00  A slight variation of its cousin.  We use organic zucchini from our garden and allow the flavors to do the rest.  Great  for after dinner, breakfast, lunch, with coffee.  Anytime!!

Breads:

Bagels:  $1.00 each or 6 for $5.00.  Our bagels are consistent dense, chewy, and delicious each week.  We have the largest variety of choices in the highlands and bake them fresh for you.  Please pre-order in quantities of 6.  Here are the choices;  The Everything, Plain, Onion, Garlic, Poppy, Sesame Seed, Sundried Tomato, and Cinnamon Raisin.
