Hi folks,
I've received some references on realtors in the Boquete area, but thought I'd turn to the boquete.ning community before deciding, as the majority of the members have been very helpful in the past! A realtor that is knowledgeable in local laws is a must, of course, and the ability to work with locals and find currently unlisted property would also be preferred. If you've had a great property purchasing experience in the past, would love to hear about it!
Hope the New Year has brought you all good fortune, and I appreciate any references you can provide.
Thanks in advance!

I contacted a realtor who advertised their efficiency on page 1 of this thread. Havent heard a word in 2 days. That is why Casa Solutions gets so much of the gringo business.
Could any Ninglanders reading this thread recommend an English speaking *licensed* realtor in Concepción, or who is most familiar with that area? Of course, if they know about Boquete also that is no problem! ;-)
I am going to bold and suggest Will Wolff. I know him and Mari and they will be honest. He understands the investment and purchase issues, she has the local contacts. They also support BoqueteNing and there is a link to them on the right column.
On a slightly different note, why is it that all the online realtors have different prices for the same property? As a buyer, how can you know what the "actual" asking price I?. Some price differences are significant. I am sure that if you use the 'wrong' realtor, they would be only too happy to sell you the property at the highest price, not the best price. Who do the realtors actually work for - the buyer or the seller?
It's a great mystery. Panama businesses have websites with "contact us" and an email address, and I've never had one answer. Even when you tell them you want to buy one of their products, they don't answer, and even if you write it in Spanish. It is one of the frustrating things about dealing with businesses here.
Phil,
Mary Wolff at Wolff real Estate Services, Panama is a local who is married to a gringo (me) and has many contacts within the Panamanian community and she would be very happy working for your best interests in finding the property that most closely meets your needs. Mary is hard working, honest and willing to represent you.

Hi Keith,
Yes, we changed office. We have a new office on the road to David, we also opened an office in Panama City, where due to the amount of work we have in Marine Law, we needed more personell. As real estate in Boquete is slow, we moved most of our attention to our law work. Fastest growing? Of course I cannot really compare as I have no information about other companies. Maybe yes, we are. I like to know, which Law firm created over a hundred residents visas and over 40 new corporations in 2012. Did we sell a lot. No we didn´t, not in Boquete, but with a national turnover of more then 10 million in properties in 2012, we are still very satisfied.
Sorry, but your comment is uninformed, stupid and tendenseus. You don´t even know us!
Sir.. I was only asking to be informed. This is a discussion about local real estate firms, and, as I said, I drove by your office the other day and saw that it was closed.
Actually sir, I was content with the response I got from GSD that your business relocated to the City. Congratulations on a good year, although you might want to consider Googling 'Dale Carnegie'.
