A Sastre is a tailor
A Sastreria is the Tailor's shop.
There is a modista in Boquete in the green house across from the library. She is very good according to a friend. There is a sign on her upstairs door.
"Modistas" are dressmakers. I know of two locals who work out of their homes. One is on the right as you head downhill toward David, just about opposite the unfinished hospital structure. Look for a yard sign "Modista".
The other one is is lady named Mercedes whose house is by the road as you leave Los Algorobbos headed toward Boquete. 6928-2198 is the number on her yard sign.

Here in Panama the correct name for a tailor is Sastreria. (Not sastre) If you call it this on the street they will know fast what what you mean. Some of the words people look up on google translate just dont work here.
