Susan and Pat, I have two 250 gallon tanks, and they are full. Our water has not been off, but it was low pressure twice this week, then it went back to normal after a couple of hours. I live in Volcancito near the school.
Apparently the Swedes didn't plan for water. Can you imagine? hello, Bjorn?
Santa Lucia has its own water system and supply. It is not connected to the water system for the rest of Volcancito. It is notorious for water outage problems. I live in Volcancito and have water 99% of the time. If there are outages, they usually only last a few hours. Santa Lucia's can last for days.
robin,
our friend lives in santa lucia for 2 yrs. we know many people who live there. even with a bomba (backup water storage), they have no water at least 2 or 3 days a week, forever. it is a fact of life in santa lucia. only downside to a great neighborhood. but it is a fact of life there.
