Reading the site today I noticed that water storage and filtration is mentioned several times in ads in the Boquete Homes for Sale Group and in a Blog post for a home for sale. I haven't seen much in the forums concerning water availability and quality. Are people just putting in these systems as "insurance" or is there a real need for storage and filtration?

Thanks Ralph and Lee. Any idea what the cost of installation would be to put tanks//pumps/filters in a house that didn't have a system? (I'm trying to value the with vs. without.)
Like everything everyplace, it depends. Depends upon your lot, elevation, size of a tank, pressure you want. When I first did mine I was quote more than five thousand dollars I did for a few hundred, the large tank was the biggest cost.

OK. It doesn't sound like it is something I should be using to discriminate value with.
Thank you gentlemen. I will close the discussion.
