ARF is having a pancake breakfast on Saturday, October 1st from 9:00am to 11:30am. $10 includes a stack of pancakes, butter, syrup, bacon, fruit and tea or coffee. Juice, Mimosas and Bloody Mary's are also available for purchase. This will be held at the Animales building in Alto Boquete.
Mr. Dog with be there with lots of items for your pets......bones, collars, leashes, shampoos, carriers, kennels, beds, outfits and more. He will also have available his engraving machine so you can get an ID tag for your pet if you do not already have one (did you know it is a requirement of the Animal Law 70 in Panama that your domestic animal have a tag, with at least a number to call in case they are found wandering?) Protect your furry friend, and get a tag for him if you don't already have one. Too many animals, that are obviously owned, are found wandering the streets because somehow they managed to escape but they have no ID tag, so there is no way to contact the owner and get them home.
We will also have on display many of our dogs and cats that are ready and available for adoption, so if you are looking to add a family member, this would be a great opportunity to come by and meet them.
Tickets can be purchased from the ARF tent at the Tuesday market and Mailboxes Etc.......tickets go on sale Tuesday, September 6th.

Also, a possible appearance by Winnie. Winnie was found starving and has been in recovery for 7 months. Thank you to her foster who took such good care of her. She is being spayed tomorrow at the clinic, and if all goes well, she will make her debut appearance at the pancake breakfast.
