No idea on this one but taxis are always suspect. The lady in the pink blouse seems to know. Check the location of the pedestrian crosswalk in relation to where these vehicular gymnastics took place.
Only 27 years of age, a Venezuelan citizen. Too young.
This accident did take place at the intersection on the new section of 4-lane on the Via Boquete at Los Anastacios where one can turn right to go to Tinajas and eventually the InterAmerican Highway.
This is a 4-corner intersection where there are a lot of people making left hand turns into oncoming traffic. Judging by the position of the truck, I'm guessing that someone turned left towards Anastacios from the southbound lanes and got creamed by a northbounder. The spot where the truck came to rest, as can be seen in the photo, is a freshly filled site on the southeast corner .

I would like to know what driving mistakes were made if you know
so that I could be sure to not make them myself.
Thanks,
On my way to the Airport a couple of hours ago, I passed this mess on Avenida Central in David. One person injured and hospitalized.
I'm posting notices of some of these accidents to increase awareness that dangers surround us and it is necessary to drive with total awareness.
One woman has succumbed to her injuries, Celeste Almeida.
