Suzanne, I would try Eva at Isla Verde. Very good location, beautiful grounds, good service. Glad to hear you're flying off the Rock to join us. http://islaverdepanama.com/

Gees,bye.....can't wait!!!! Thanks all for the suggestions,I really do appreciate them all......
Check out Boquete Garden Inn also - it's always a popular choice and they have a nice breakfast as part of the fare - you'll probably want to rent a car as it's a pretty good walk to town and at night there can be difficulty getting a taxi if it's after 9. Anyway, there's a lot to see and do all around the district so a car is a necessity, imo. The Isla Verde and El Oasis are great suggestions as well and they're right in the thick of things. I love the restaurant at El Oasis - the filet is awesome!
Indeed. Their small roundhouses accommodate 4, big roundhouses accommodate 6. Very centrally located, within walking distance of most restaurants .http://islaverdepanama.com/

Their website indicates it's 3 kilometers from the Caldera turn-off, going toward Boquete. It's certainly not comfortable walking distance.

It is by my odometer 8 kilometers to the center of town from Momentum Dr ( not counting the distance from Hwy into the River Inn location) not walking distance !
We don't need luxury..but maybe a B&B,of some sort....we're all healthy and therefore, can walk a fare distance....I walk daily, about 4-5 miles....so does everyone else......Would definately like to have it in town,or maybe close, say within 1-2miles,away...I plan to look around Boquete and surrounding area... do an excursion or two..eat in the restaurants, etc.,so food doesn't necessarily have to be supplied,well..maybe breakfast..We are planning to rent a car, but,of course that depends on the distance from town.......by the way,are there car rentals in Boquete? Thanks for answering......

Isla Verde gets my vote. Great breakfasts in the dome.Very clean, very close to everything in town. $1-2 taxis if needed.
