My friend Cristiano Zeviani is missing since Tuesday, May 10, 2016
Please watch out for Cristiano. He is an Italian expat. His wife is Panamanian and I am a friend of his . We all care about finding him. He was supposed to be showing some land that he owns behind el Caño in Dolega, and never returned.
Search parties will be organised this week: he could be anywhere as he left in his truck on Tuesday to supposedly show property to someone with the name Pinzon which is a well known name in these areas.
No one with the name Pinzon has met with Cristiano that day, and we suspect foul play.
Cristiano owns property in Dolega behind The Caño, as well as on Alto Boquete and in Caldera. I believe he owns a small ranch in Rio Sereno as well. He has lived in Chiriqui for 10 years.
Cristiano is bald, about 5.10 or 5.11, and has normal build. He has brown eyes. I have posted pictures of Cristiano and of his truck in this message.
Please contact Detective Fernando of the DIJ at number 62921964 or Saskia van der Neut at 69787500
Information will be treated discretely.
Thanks so much for your help!

Praying for a safe return! I have posted him to my FB page as well where there are several expats, maybe it will help.
The update: since the truck has been found with 4 flat tires in a remote area near Los Quetzals Trail in Cerro Punta, he authorities have been analysing the trace evidence on the truck and are working on finger print comparisons. Cristiano has not yet been found.
Finally two days ago on Thursday the news was broadcasted in the media, and now a lot of phone calls are coming in. The police are verifying the tips now.
Cristiano's Mom and their family lawyer are arriving tomorrow or the day after and we ( Isaraya, Cris' lady and I) feel that more can and will be done with international pressure. I feel we need dogs as well. Panama doesn't have any.
I have made a request for search and cadaver dogs to the authorities, and that was the answer. Anybody in Boquete has search dogs?
Thanks for all the kindness and all the support from our neighbours! Its very much appreciated!

I have found something:

No specific mention of cadaver dogs, but perhaps this info will help.
Oh thats wonderful! I have a meeting with all involved in the morning, tomorrow, and will DEFINITELY make that a top priority for the list! Thanks so much!
The DIJ had actually told me the police doesnt have search dogs not cadaver dogs but I never thought about Cruz Roja!
Muchas Gracias!
Apparently there is such a K9 force in Panama in which the Cruz Roja, Sinaproc, Senan, SPI, Policía y Cuerpo de Bomberos are involved:

Cristiano is now missing 2 whole weeks. Today the DIJ told me they have valuable links on the basis of which a search with the help of the Red Cross will now be performed in an unnamed area. There seems to be some video footage as well. All very vague; hope to be able to give more details later today!
Apparently, the Panamanian Cruz Roja does have such dogs. I remember one of the chiefs (have to look that up) complaining about the fact that the Red Cross should have been involved in searching Kris and Lisanne (instead of postponing things and contemplating whether to engage the Costa Rican Red Cross).
I'll try to look this up, it has been a while. Perhaps you could ask around about the Red Cross.
Dont know how to find the replies??
Cant find them.. please link me could you. Thanks!

Might it be helpful to notify Interpol about Cristiano's disappearance?
