Ok - I will have to go on an exploration mode in David next time - won't be the first because this doesn't sound familiar but have a grasp on the area. At least now, thx to a compass, I don't get too lost in David and that was a major hurdle!
Went by today and found that it is open 7 days a week, 7am- 9pm.

If it's the place I am thinking of, you go south from the Pan Am highway toward the jail, on the way to the airport, turn right at the intersection at the Catholic Church. Go about 4-5 blocks and you will see a HUGE building that has blue and white square blocks for the walls. It looks like it could be a sports coliseum or something. Turn at the street just before the building and find a parking space inside the fenced property. Many vendors inside for fish veggies and fruit. It seems to us that the further inside the building you go, the better the produce at the vendors stands.

The new market is open in David. You can buy all the fresh seafood you want there. The place is beautiful and well orth the trip.
Do you mean the new "cold" market that I've read about on Chiriqui Chatter? Thx.
Stephen:
Can you tell me where it is located? Thanks so much.
Thank you!
PS - I don't know Miguel, but of course wish him the best based on the posts here.
Thx
