We'd be interested in visiting Coronado for a day or two, so a few questions spring to mind:
1. Does the David/Panama bus make a stop in Coronado, both going and coming? Where does it stop? I can imagine it would be easy enough when on the bus heading towards Panama, to ask to get off at Coronado, but on returning from there, is the bus generally full when leaving Panama, and if so, will it stop at all at Coronado?
2. Is Coronado Beach exclusive and private, or is there public access?
If there are any other hints or useful information you could offer, I'd be glad to hear it. Thanks in advance.

The bus will stop in Coronado if you let the driver know. Getting back if the bus has space it will stop in Coronado. There is a bus every 30 minutes. They stop on the Highway near McDonalds and Super 99.
All beaches are public but Coronado itself is a gated town. Not hard to get through the gate. There are public access paths every 100 meters or so to the beach.
Right now is not the best time to come here because it is jelly fish season and they are every where for the next couple of weeks.
I used to live in Boquete and now living in Coronado for the past year. If you have any other question e mail me.
Thanks, Jeffrey. If I think of anything else to ask, I'll e-mail you.
Seems I have to 'friend' you before I can do that. I've just clicked on the link to send that request.
