If you feel you need to carry a gun with you stay in the States. Yes there is crime in Panama including violent crime but adding to the gun totals does not keep the streets safer. Maybe you should be listening to the youth of your country fighting for stricter gun control...

By the youth of our country you mean the ones that are confused about which restroom to use and eat laundry detergent?
Yes, criminals have the guns. We cannot buy them and if we do, a year to license and a year to renew. Renewal requires your gun goes to PC for a year, so you go without protection while you wait.
For anyone interested I’m taking my response to The Rant as I don’t feel the front page would be appropriate and neither do I wish to play a part in soiling the Boquetening so many have been praising recently.

really like to know where you received those year time frame. because that not true. I have three firearms in DIASP that have been there for more than three yrs, there is no limit in sight. perhaps when the current administration is deleted we will enjoy the shooting matches that we used to ave in Farfan and the Balboa gun club. and the ability to protect our homes and families. enough said.

Maybe you guys should take a hint. Panama has decided that they don’t want an armed populace.
