Happy vs Unhappy People

In life there exists two kinds of people: the happy and the unhappy. We come across each type of person everyday. There are the miserable people, who are always complaining about anything and everything, while on the other side we have the optimistic people who always look at the glass as half full and are constantly seeking more out of life.

I for one, have always chose to look at life as a half-full glass, and add some Tequila to my lemons.

Does anyone know where I could find a family to help for Christmas? I am alone here but have family and grandchildren back in the states and would love to see the joy on the children's faces. I was going to get a big bag of toys and hand them out on Christmas Eve but that might not be appropriate. Thank you!

Maybe it's because the only time you see indigenous people is when they are around expats.

I go to where they live. The children for the most part are happy to receive a doll or a ball or a piece of hard candy. On the other hand, some of the older children have a blank and hopeless look in their eyes. I am sure there are poorer regions of the world, but. personally I have never seen the type of poor conditions of a people, until I moved to Panama and started helping the Ngobe Indians. The poorest of the U.S.A are rich in comparison with these wonderful, hard working people here.

I do not know if buying lottery tickets makes you happy or unhappy, I do know perhaps that getting your hopes high and then not winning can make you unhappy

On the other hand, indigenous people for the most part, work very hard, are very poor and not always have a hot or good meal, not to mention their living conditions. For the most part I would not say they are unhappy, perhaps they find happiness in other things and not on working so hard and living under such harsh conditions. I have seen their happy faces when I have brought them food or shoes for their children or toys in Christmas

who is an unhappy person, that b/tch little person who now runs the aib school. what a horrible person. why is she there? what happened to the original owners? she is one of the meanest persons i have seen
