Can anyone recommend a hotel near the American Embassy? We're flying in to Tocumen tomorrow night and taking the bus to David on Wednesday, with a stop at the Embassy on Wednesday morning.

I stayed at the Albrook Inn.
Clean rooms, decent restaurant, reasonably priced and 5 minutes from the Embassy.I'd stay there anytime I need to visit the Embassy.

We just stayed at Pacific Dreams. It is a micro-hotel in a house just behind Don Lee Restaurant in Dorado. 15 minutes to the Embassy. They will call a cab.
Hotel is very basic, but clean and comes with breakfast. Pretty quiet on a residential street, only a few businessmen staying there. Walk to restaurants.
Also 2 doors down is Mediterranean Dreams, which is similar.
