Hello, to anyone who knew Kay Lamberson, she is my mom and I don't have any information about her accept that she's in the David morgue. I have no idea what her life has been like the past year or so because she just fell off the radar. No phone, no facebook, nothing. I have been worried about her well being for a while, and now I've lost her. If anyone can be a contact in Boquete for me and maybe share some information, I would SINCERELY appreciate it.
Thank you so much, Kim Lamberson Smith

Hi Kim:
We too are sorry for your loss. Kay was one of our parishioners at San Juan Bautiste Church. She and Josie would attend the 9:00 a.m. English speaking service on Sundays. They were just with us a week ago.We are here and ready to help. We were waiting to hear from the family about funeral services or a memorial service (if you were going to fly her home right away). We also have someone in the English speaking community at Church that could help you understand the intricacies of bring her back to the United States. Please feel free to call me at 507-6741-8412.

If there is to be a service of some kind, and you wish to have music, I could play piano (I can bring my electric one). I so understand how it is to be so far away and not have connections within a community. Please let me know if I can help with a memorial / funeral / neighborhood get-together.

My wife and I met your mom about two years ago when we were interested in the home next door. She was a lovely lady and we are very sorry for your loss. We are members of the Catholic Church were she attended. She lived above Boquete in a community called Alta Vista. We knew she had pets and we were conconerned about their wellbeing. I went up on Friday and feed three dogs and one cat. While I was in the back yard, there was a worker named Coyi ( Edilberto) 507-6749-6780 who works at Lucero Golf Club was knocking on the front door. He shared the following information.
Jose has a brother named Luis Alberto Alvarado, cell number 507-6671-1538, Beto-Alvarado@hotmail.com
He is now in David with Jose to the best of our knowledge. Coyi said Luis does not speak English but his wife does.
I returned to the house early Monday morning to check on the animals and the pet food I had left in the carport had been moved inside the locked house. Therefore, someone is now taking care of the animals. There are many friends of Kay's who would like to know what the final arrangements will be. Please keep us posted... Again we are so sorry for your loss.
We hope this helps....
Sincerely,
Sharon and Tommy Kline

Dear Kim,
Dave and I met your Mom 9/10 years ago here.
She was a "newbie" like us.
I remember she arrived with lots of Parrots.
We arrived with 4 pets also.
This was a smaller town then.. and we used to see each other at Yalty's Dinners and at the big Pot Lucks we had back then.
We went to her home one day .. up in Jaramillo to deliver some things.
Then , we did not see her for a long time.
I heard she married a musician, who played in town.
Then, I did not see her for years.
I saw her maybe 3 years ago.. she looked the same.. tall, thin and short blond hair. We had a good hug..
My husband and I did see the car at the side of the road last Thursday and we were afraid for the people in that car.
Later we heard that they were searching for information about a Kathy Lamberson.
It is an unusual last name .. and I wondered if a Kathy might be a "Kay"..sadly , it was.
Kim, I and the other old timers here are so very sad for your loss..
We all need to embrace each day, and our loved ones.
Kim, I'm so sorry you lost your mom and also that you lost touch with her. I have known Kay for about 10 years. We didn't hang out together, but when we ran into each other in town we always were glad to see each other gave each other hugs. If I get any information about her, I will email you. She did get married while she was here, if you didn't know that. His name is Jose (don't know his last name). He was injured and is in Hospital Chiriqui in David. Hopefully somebody else knows his name, and you can talk to him.
