Can you just educate me first on how this is different than sharpening via a regular kitchen sharpener like the ones you pull the knife thru & the ones that chefs use (the long round metal stick thingy).
What is your experience with this, & how long this version lasts vs. the above.

Sorry I didn't provide my location, I am at the BCP Tuesday Market each week. Yes I will be there on Dec. 24th.
The cost is $4-$6 depending on the length of the blade. Hope to see you on Christmas Eve.
