need help transporting large 125lb dog from panama city.  there are no planes large enough to handle a series 700 dog crate. the dog will be flown over on a air freighter amerijet. and no the blog does not cover that issue. i read some company called golden frog charged $475.00 dollars to have their dog shipped. i think i can do better, enlisting help anyone out there know anyone please blog me back or @ my personal email [e-mail]. thanks

We used golden Frog 2 years ago to come from Tocumen to Boquete. It was around $450 for 2 of us plus big dog and crate plus luggage. It was a lot, but cheaper than airfare. You may have to disassemble the crate to fit it into a van, so bring whatever you need for that in your checked luggage. Buy a bottle of water at the airport - your dog will need it as soon as he sees you. (This is if you are flying in) Golden Frog will also help you get through the customs with the dog.
