Alcaldía De Boquete 2014 - 2019December 18 at 2:47pm · Edited ·LEY SECA EN BOQUETE POR ELECCIONES DEL 21 DE DICIEMBRECon motivo de la ley seca declarada a raíz de las elecciones el proximo domingo 21 de diciembre el alcalde hace del conocimiento público el siguiente decreto...DECRETO N° 209(DEL 17 DE DICIEMBRE DE 2014)EL SUSCRITO ALCALDE DEL DISTRITO DE BOQUETE EN USO DE LAS FACULTADES LEGALES QUE LE CONFIERE LA LEY:CONSIDERANDO:A- Que el día 21 de diciembre 2014, con motivo de la contienda electoral que se efectuara en el circuito 4-5, para elegir el diputado de esta área el tribunal electoral ha decretado la “Ley Seca”B- Que por este motivo el suscrito Alcalde ordena el cierre de las cantinas, bodegas, centros nocturnos, equipos de sonidos y ventas de bebidas alcohólicas al igual que se prohíbe el obsequio uso y consumo de estos tipos de productos, incluyendo en fiestas familiares, bodas y quince años.C- Los supermercados (la sección de licores deberá permanecer cerrada), Y los Restaurantes no podrán vender bebidas alcohólicas como acompañamiento.DECRETA:ARTÍCULO PRIMERO: Se ordena el cierre de todos los lugares donde se venda licor y sus derivados desde las 12:30 p.m. del día sábado 20 de diciembre de 2014, hasta la 12:30 p.m. del día lunes 22 de diciembre de 2014.ARTICULO SEGUNDO: Se prohíbe transportar licores en los automóviles durante el día que este vigente este Decreto.ARTICULO TERCERO: El Comercio que viole este Decreto será multado con B/.100.00 a B/.500.00 Balboas de multa.ARTICULO CUARTO: El ciudadano que se sorprenda libando licor y haciendo escándalo en la vía pública y utilizando equipos de sonidos durante este día será sancionado con multas de B/.100.00 a B/.500.00.ARTICULO QUINTO: Autorizar a los Corregidores de Policía, Ministerio de Salud, Policía Nacional y Policía de menores el fiel cumplimiento de este Decreto, Inspectores Municipales.Dado en la Alcaldía de Boquete a los diecisiete (17) días del mes diciembre de 2014.NOTIFÍQUESE Y CÚMPLASELICDO. Rough translation of our Boquete "Dry Law". Please, feel free to correct for clarity, especially Article 4....

Basically, no sell, no buy, no drink, no transport of alcohol and no noise (horn blowing?) from 12:30 this afternoon until 12:30pm on Monday. In other words, don't drink and be quiet while doing it. (Translate "it" as you wish).

You have been warned.

Decree N° 209
(17 December 2014)

THE SIGNED MAYOR OF THE DISTRICT OF Boquete IN USE OF THE LEGAL POWERS CONFERRED UPON IT BY THE LAW:

RECITAL:

A- That the day December 21 2014, on the occasion of the election that will take place in the circuit 4-5, to choose the member of this area the electoral tribunal has decreed the "Ley Seca".

B- That this is why the mayor signed orders the closure of the canteens, wineries, night clubs, teams of sounds and sales of alcoholic beverages as well as prohibiting the gift use and consumption of these types of products, including in family parties, weddings and fifteen years.

C- Supermarkets (section of spirits must be kept closed), and Restaurants may not sell alcoholic beverages as an accompaniment.

Decreed:

ARTICLE FIRST: Ordering the closure of all places where liquor is sold and their derivatives from 12:30 p.m. of the day Saturday, 20 December 2014, until the 12:30 p.m. of the day Monday 22 December 2014.

SECOND ARTICLE: Prohibits transporting liquor in the car during the day that this Decree.

THIRD ARTICLE: The Trade who violates this Ordinance shall be fined with B/.100.00 to B/.500.00 Balboas.

FOURTH Article: Citizen be surprised who liquor and crashing in the track and using public equipment of sounds during this day shall be punished with fines of B/.100.00 to B/.500.00.

FIFTH ARTICLE: Authorize the Corregidores Police, Ministry of Health, National Police and juvenile police the faithful implementation of this Decree, municipal inspectors.

Given at the Town Hall in Boquete to the seventeen (17) days of the month December 2014.
