Early this year I shopped around for a new memory form mattress. I went to all the furniture stores and couldn't find any less than $1,000.+. Then. on a whim when in Franklin Jurado on the PanAmerican Hway, I asked a sales clerk if they carried mattresses and they said they did, only one brand, Dr, Dream. Their factory is here in Panama. The cost of the Queen Size Dr. Dream with about 4" of memory form on top came to $725. and included Tax and Delivery, what a steal. Since using it I have never slept better in my life and I've tried all kinds of beds (water beds, water beds flotation devices, soft mattresses. hard mattresses, orthopedic mattresses) none compare to this Dr. Dream.
I had, nobody beat FJ's price including tax and delivery and they moved my old queen size bed from the 2nd floor downstairs to my mail floor free of charge and were very careful doing so. (of course I gave them a tip).
I am attempting to build a vocal recording booth so I may record vocals without background noise bleeding into my vocal track. I've heard memory foam is a good insulator for this purpose.
If anyone has a foam mattress that has been used up and is no longer good for sleeping on, I will happily recycle it and pay you $20 to remove it just as long as it doesnt smell awful and consider it a favor.
I bought my queen size memory foam mattress topper from Pricesmart 2 years ago for $180 (about). I could not be happier with it. One of the best purchases I have made in years!
Try the Gala store a few doors down from Rodalag in David. We saw a guy carrying what appeared to be a rolled up approximately 2-3 in. thick mattress from the back door pick up area. BTW, they had the best appliance price on what we were looking for - better than Rodalag, Sonitech, Ramtech, and Panafoto.

Thank you so much for this info, Patrick. I hope they still have it. Happy New Year.
many stores carry Dr. Dream.
perhaps the price at FJ was a good one, but you can also check out the mattresses at the furniture store next to El Rey in Plaza Terronal. Upstairs.

Hi, I had a top quality memory foam mattress shipped in from the US, even with shipping it was less then buying one here.

To everyone who responded to my memory foam inquiry, thanks a million. You have all been very helpful.
Merry Christmas and Prosperous New Year.
