As most of us who have lived here any length of time know, it is traditional and functional for the people to block streets to protest something they do not like from the government. The President of the Republic gave some advice to would be protestors today.

The President Juan Carlos Varela, called attention to the Panamanian population to close the streets when for some need are forced to protest, but he did jokingly.
"... I give advice to the people, the best day to protest is on Tuesday, 12-3, excuse the place I'll tell you, in front of" The Mayor "... why, because there it passed all ministers the Cabinet, then please go there and there, if I myself stand there when I go, but need not trancar streets ... it's a way to help governance, "he said.
"The Mayor" is a recognized brothel located in the Old Town, near the Presidency of the Republic, and all ministers have to be in attendance at the Presidency on Tuesdays for Cabinet meetings."
