This has been a topic of recent discussions where disrespect has reigned.I am sorry but this is not the way Ning intends to conduct business and most importantly name calling, insults, assumptions and behavior that is so out of line leaves a lot to wish for, especially coming from grown adults.
With that said, many of you may or may not like what I am about to say, but it's simple.You are benefiting from a FREE service that Boquete.Ning offers you, as part of our services to the expat community, and so this benefit must not be abused.
From now on, we will monitor the ads that are placed in the classified section as well as Forum posts promoting websites and business ventures. You are not to broker or make this your private for profit flea market. No commission brokers, retail store owners are to be placing free ads in the Classifieds. If you have a business to promote or are in the retail business, we welcome you to BUY our ads. Same goes for advertising of lifestyle websites and ebooks.
We understand someone having a Yard Sale, Moving Sale etc. but it is totally questionable that someone has multiple articles to sell, every day, every week. Or someone who writes an article enticing membership interest only to promote a personal lifestyle website, which will ultimately generate them income.
Double profiles with the same telephone number or contact will be monitored, again this is not your private business portal. This is a FREE service to the community for the use of individuals selling by owner.
No SPAMMING or multiple ads in one day. If you have a Moving Sale, Yard Sale, etc, then place all your items in the one ad, do not place ads where you bump other sellers
No disruptive or offensive behavior nor name calling towards others. If you have an issue with an ad or with a seller, please private mail me, Ambreen or Bob
Realtors and Real Estate Brokers are NOT to post in the FREE ads. If you want to advertise your property for rent or sale, do so By Owner only as it's free. If you profit from our services, then we should too. So please, Realtors are encouraged to contact us to place your PAID ads with us, no more FREEBIES as this is obviously being abused.
Additionally if you post on forums promoting websites, books, lifestyle pages, etc. you should do so as a paid sponsor and not take up forum space or ad space for FREE services to the community as you are promoting a business. These continued ads will be deleted.

My point is this, you know people were really abusing the classifieds, I know many restaurants spam this page, Facebook and other portals that are FREE for them, however, they abuse it for their profit. Is that fair to you

Flea Markets and BCP are different as they are community services. What we mean are stores and/or people pushing books, websites and making commissions out of free ads that we offer as a service while spamming the forums
But those things melt the brain, cause impotence and some other health issues which are too horrible to mention in public.
Not to mention, can't be used as doorstops, home defence nor a modelling tool to practice walking on the catwalk.

However Michael, I can make the font bigger on a Kindle to aid my old eyes. I find many paper books have type that is so small I can't read it comfortably.

I'm all for public libraries, I lived in one as a younger child. In fact, it's too bad there aren't more.
