Entre los requisitos que deben cumplir los extranjeros que deseen renovar sus permisos están: carné original de residente provisional del programa Panamá Crisol de Razas, vencido o próximo a vencerse; certificado de antecedentes penales del país de origen o de residencia.
En caso de tener más de dos años de residencia en la República de Panamá sin haber salido del país, se podrá presentar el récord policivo de la Dirección de Investigación Judicial, además deberá presentar declaración jurada de antecedentes personales, según formulario suministrado por el Servicio Nacional de Migración.
Igualmente, deberán presentar prueba de afiliación a la Caja de Seguro Social, pago de nueve cuotas consecutivas o paz y salvo de rentas expedido por la Dirección General de Ingresos del Ministerio de Economía y Finanzas y declaración jurada de responsabilidad o carta notariada de responsabilidad expedida por un residente permanente o nacional panameño a favor del extranjero, acompañada por copia de carné de residente permanente o cédula de identidad personal cotejados por notario público, entre otros requisitos.
El extranjero cancelará los costos establecidos del trámite ante el Banco Nacional de Panamá y deberá presentar el comprobante del pago realizado al Servicio Nacional de Migración.
Luego de cumplir con los requisitos establecidos y se apruebe la solicitud el Servicio Nacional de Migración extenderá al extranjero una renovación de su permiso provisional de regulación migratoria extraordinaria por seis años.

The requirements to be met by extranjeros wishing to renew their Carnets are:
Meet original provisional Crisol de Razas resident program Panama, outdated or next to expire; certificate of criminal history of the country of origin or residence. In case of having more than two years of residence in the Republic of Panama without having left the country, it may submit the police record of the direction of Judicial Investigation, you must also submit an affidavit of personal history on a form supplied by the National Migration Service.
Likewise, they must provide proof of membership in the Fund of Social Insurance, payment of nine consecutive assessments or Paz y Salvo from income tax issued by the Revenue Department of the Ministry of Economy and Finance and affidavit of liability or notarized letter of responsibility issued by a permanent resident or Panamanian national in favor of the Extranjero, accompanied by copy of permanent resident or personal identity cards notarized by a notary public, among other requirements.
The applicant can cancel established the costs of the proceedings in the National Bank of Panama and must provide proof of payment to the National Migration Service.
