After about 9 years of people nagging me about putting up a sign out front of the Zap, I've decided we have the time etc now to do it...So as part of the base, instead of filling it with expensive piedra and good tierra, we filled it with plastic bottles, old metal junk, bits and pieces of hard rubbish,shoes etc. We then filled in just the top with piedra and cemented over it. Seems a terrible waste to be throwing all that junk in the landfills when we can use it ourselves.
So..I'll let you know how it holds up.

Well, then. You may have come up with an incredible idea ! What to do with all that solid garbage ? Potential for someone smarter than me ( I? )
We've done trash rocks too...lots of ways of using garbage.

It's still a landfill, and it will probably be scattered to the wind after the Zap is gone and the sign is torn down. But garbage happens, and that's a good temporary home for it.
