Hi everyone,
I'm looking for the most inexpensive shipping option for ordering things offline from Miami to Boquete. I'm aware of the most common places in town, but most of them are pricey. It doesn't matter to me if the office is in Boquete or not, as long as they have good prices!
I recently heard from another American that there was a place that was starting to manage shipments and was charging $4.50 a pound. I think they may have been talking about the tourism office that is next to Farmacia Danka by the park, but I may be wrong.
Thanks for the feedback in advance on either of these issues.

Hi Ross,
Do you know approximately how long an order takes if it comes by ship from Fort Lauderdale, for example, to Panama City? I'd be interested in finding out, because I've got more time than money!
Most ocean freight is 2-4 weeks from Miami to Panama depending on the steamship line and if they stop at another port or come directly. If you have something larger like a pallet Al White runs 3-4 LCL containers per month and usually they are about 2 weeks port to port. Reba Smith also runs a container each month from Miami to PC and they will put things in there container for you. They charge by volume unless it is something like lead then the weight kicks in.

Interestingly enough, I e-mailed back and forth with Eliecer and found out the shipping company I've been using is just a branch of the same, but in the capital. So this is better since it's directly to Boquete. Good news! Thanks for the info.
eShop gets cheaper than Cafre Cacao if the package weighs more than a pound. 2 lb from Cafe, $9. 2 lb from eShop, $8.56.
Thanks for the info. In case you're interested, between when I posted this and now I've found that the cheapest at the moment is Airbox Panama (Aerocasillas) because they've just lowered their prices for the Boquete area exclusively. These are actually very good prices comparatively speaking.

Joanna,
Where is the office for Airbox Panama in Boquete?
Hi Steve,
This is so helpful. Thank you very much!
I don't know anything about the alleged $4.50 a pound place, but the "common places in town" have been discussed extensively on this forum. Some discussions have been recent. Have you tried the Search Boquete Panama function?
