As simple and unpretentious - and comforting - as your favorite old work shirt, this soup is thick with ground beef and vegetables. Simmering in a tomato-based stock, it will stick to your ribs and possibly remind you of Sunday evenings way back when...

Come sample this "taste of home", as well as a dozen other soups, familiar and exotic, at "THE GREAT BOQUETE SOUP KITCHEN" this Friday, July 25, from 11:30AM to 2PM at the BCP. Suggested donation is $8, which allows you to sample and enjoy all the soups!

This event is being hosted by the Boquete Knitters and Quilters as a fund raiser for the purchase of yarn, fabric, batting and other supplies which we transform into quilts, blankets, sweaters, caps and booties which we donate to the indigenous babies in Boquete.
