Toys for Tots and Sugar & Spice

Sugar & Spice is pleased to host the second annual Toys for Tots at Hogar Trisker. Last year was a HUGE success; every child had a present to open on Christmas morning. We would like to thank all those that participated last year and ask for your support again this year. It’s very easy to help, just come by S&S starting Saturday November 22^nd and pick out as many children off the list we have that you would like to buy a present for. Purchase the present of your choice, have it gift wrapped and write the child’s name and age on the present. Then just drop it off at S&S. On December 23^rd we will deliver all of the presents and any other donations that have been collected to Hogar Trisker.

Last year several of you helped by donating Christmas candy, boxed drinks and juices, canned food, baby blankets, bedding and bath towels for the general use of the home. Those items were of great help as well.

Thank you everyone who has helped to make these kids Christmas more bright. At this point all of the kids have a secret Santa for this year. However, if you still wish to help out they can always use outdoor toys like balls, jump ropes and such, plus any non perishable food donations, juice or milk cartons are always welcome.
Thank you for the offer of the truck Jim, we have that covered.
If you wish to donate anything more please have it to the bakery by December 21st so that we will have time to organize and deliver everything.

Richard, do all the kids have toys?

This year there are 49 children at Hogar Trisker, ages from 1 year to 16 years old. I wanted to say thank you to those of you who signed up this morning while having breakfast. I think about 14 children now have a secret santa. But we still need more help, please come by the bakery and sign up to be a secret santa for a child at Hogar Trisker.
