Tuesday Morning Meeting help?

Hey all,

Since the withdrawal of Lee,the management of the Tuesday Morning Meeting has fallen back to Penny Barrett (VP of BCP amangst about 50 other things). As a former moderator of the meeting I am happy to do a couple of meetings a month but I am unable to do all of them. I can also help out with speakers ...BUT...basically we need some new people to step up and help with both moderating and obtaining relevant spreakers.

So...anyone who is interested and would like to help...please indicate and see me (Dianne Heidke) or Penny Barrett at the Market on Tuesday next.

Dianne and Penny, I am relatively new to Boquete but have an extensive background in meeting facilitation, mediation, and program development (finding relevant topics and speakers). To your original question, I am willing to help out. Will look to talk to you more at the Tuesday meeting.

Thanks Bill...I think Penny is correct , the projector cable has HDMI ends...we need one that will connect with that cable and then connect to the laptop with a USB connection.

I gave a recent presentation at the Tuesday meeting. The projector has a VGA cable, the one normally used to connect a monitor to a PC/laptop. I my main laptop does not have a VGA port, but I was able to use my backup laptop, which does have one. Lee had offered up the use of his laptop, which does have a VGA port.

  I think that idea has been discussed ad nauseum.As it turns out,the meetings rarely occur every week.
  
  What the meeting does need is a cable that can attach the projector to the newer laptops that people bring in for their presentations.It seems that the cable we have now has a multi pronged head.It's fine for older laptops.Does anyone have a clue what I'm talking about and if so anyone with a spare connection cable that may work?
