October is usually the rainiest month here, just to let you know.

Hi Judy! I've read that about October. Is the rain mostly in the mornings?

The rainy season is characterized by sunny mornings and rainy afternoons. However there are two months, May and October, when it can rain all day, nearly every day. It's typical to have 40 inches of rain in each of those months. This can vary though. May 2009 had about half its usual rainfall and wasn't bad. I can't predict October 2009. Maybe it won't be as bad as usual. But October is the month that, if you can leave, that's the time to do it. If it isn't raining, it's fogged in. If you can come in December or Jan through April, that would be a better time. The other rainy season months are quite pleasant (June - Sep). It would be a shame to judge Boquete based on October.
