Hello Paul,
I have been in Boquete in different occasions, however, last time I come across a new apartment building, in the middle of the city, with a great standard and fantastic price and very good location -walking distance to all the shops, restaurant, banks, super markets, etc. The people running this (family) business have their apartment in the same building, and they are very friendly and helpful, they rent the place for weeks, or months. I think I have some pictures if you would like to see them; nevertheless, this is their e-mail address:

Hi Serena,

I've decided to come to Boquete in the spring of 2010 and not this October. I believe you are right that an apartment would be best on my first visit. I will look for a house to buy or rent after I get there.

You should contact with an property agent. They can helps you for find good apartment and you can also try to find on net. Apartments are better than houses and I think its best for you. I just found this site and joined As you can see from my intro - my plans are similar to yours BUT I'm planning to go in Spring 2010 so I'll be watching your site here to see how you liked it and to hear some of your experiences in Boquette and David area Have you looked into B&B's in Boquette for accomodations?

In October sometimes it's all day, all night, or both! Last year was particularly bad.
