Just curious. A little nagging question that won’t go away.
When I read that "Apparently U.S. End-Times radio evangelist Rick Wiles is encouraging his entire flock to relocate to Boquete, Panama. Some are here already with more on the way”, I can’t stop wondering if these people might be “jumping from the frying pan into the pyre”.
As I understand, the 500 year cycle is about up.

I thought it was CT (Cow Town).
Jesus, don't you people have anything to do besides talking about the "possible eruption of Baru" or the possibility of "another Jonestown massacre"? I could have used some help yesterday repairing a public camino and fixing leaks in the public waterline because the municipality has no funds for this because they gave raises to the administrators. Exercising other than one's fingers is healthy.

Of course, there is no way of knowing if anyone was predicting "The End" in Pompeii. Keeping in mind that there have always been those who are predicting the time is nigh, again, again, and on I suppose that there were.
Just as there are "doomsters" who repeatedly predict a great stock market crash, or the "gold bugs" who are always saying the price will go through the roof soon! Eventually, the actual course of events will provide what they predict. Even a broken clock will reflect the correct time twice a day.
Maybe this is the time for the "End-Times" crew. Fascinating, if just as the Jonestown prophesy was self-fulfilled, a migration of End-Timers moving to the slopes of an active volcano turns out to be the same.
Just fyi, I have spoken to some of "those" who are coming over from the States re this Rick Wiles thing and I have determined that Rick Wiles himself has not told everyone to come to Panama. Perhaps Dr Daves has as his website has a blurb about moving to Panama but I don't think that Rick Wiles is "behind" the exodus. He may have had people on his show that spoke of that. Anyhow, I have only met one couple that said that they are here because of the pending disasters in the U.S. Ok....just saying,
When someone writes a detailed thing about something, then ends it with "...just saying." what does that mean? Are you diminishing what you just wrote? Are you apologizing for what you just wrote? I do not understand this phrase and wonder why anyone feels the need to add it to their posts. It has the feeling of tail between the legs and slinking away.
