We went to the Dolega Carnival celebrations on Saturday and part way through we heard an
announcement about a black Galloper and thought we better check it out. When we arrived at
our vehicle we thought we had parked illegally as apparently we were faced the wrong way
just then a police vehicle arrived and asked if our doors were open. Our spanish is not the greatest
yet and they got out of there truck and the one officer explained that an officer had seen some
youths around the vehicle and when we checked the door it was open. They proceeded to help
us look through the car and make sure nothing was missing and were very cordial and shook hands
as they left. It was nice to know the police were patrolling the streets and would make such an
announcement at a concert you would never have that happen in Canada or the U.S.. All in all a
very positive experience. P.S. Sammy and Sandra are a must see!!
