Hi everyone. I have been thinking about teaching private or group Spanish classes in your place of your choice. Without further info for a week until a few minutes ago I assumed that the class was not going to happen and scheduled another activity. But thank you for the follow up anyway.

Lets plan on that class. I am definitely in the beginning stages of Spanish. I'll wait to hear from you or give you a call if I do not. I was assuming (one of my bad habits) that the class is at 10:30 in the morning rather then the eve. We can talk in more detail on the phone. Thanx for letting me know.

Having just arrived in Boquete from the US I would like to get involved in an additional group to check the level of the class if another one gets together . My new cell number is 69547348. My time is pretty flexible at this point for scheduling.

Hi, Marcela, basically we are beginners...zero level. We want to be able to communicate at markets, etc., we're not looking to learn all the verbs, etc. Have you thought of a place yet? We're newcomers (3 mos.) so don't know the area that well, but if the group is less than 6, we could meet at our home in Volcancito, but it seems if we met in the mid-morning or mid-afternoon, there would be space in a restaurant so that we could have coffee or sodas. Thanks and we're ready!

Fair enough that you offer your opinion, Doug. It made me want to ask you if you would also go into a nice restaurant in Panama with North American prices and suggest they lower their prices. By Marcela charging what she considers a fair rate for her services, is not by any means depriving local people of a fair living, actually, quite the contrary.
